Conway, SC · Open 24/7

Broke down? We are open right now.

Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If it quit on you on 501, in a parking lot, or in your own driveway at two in the morning, call and we will tell you straight how fast we can be there.

What to tell us when you call

The more you can tell us on the phone, the better the odds we show up with the part in the van and fix it in one trip instead of two.

Where you are. A cross street, a mile marker, or the name of the business you are parked at. If you are on a shoulder, tell us which side and which direction you were heading.

What it did. Did it die while driving, or did it just not start? Any noise, smoke, steam, or warning lights before it quit?

Does it crank? Turn the key and tell us whether the engine spins over, clicks, or does nothing at all. That one answer changes what we bring.

What it is. Year, make and model, so the right parts come with us.

What we can usually fix where you sit

  • Dead battery, bad alternator, bad starter. The most common reason a car stops being a car, and normally a same-visit fix.
  • Overheating. Hoses, thermostats, belts and coolant. We will also tell you honestly if it got hot enough that driving it further is a bad idea.
  • Will not start. Fuel or spark diagnosis on the spot rather than guessing and towing.
  • Brakes that failed on you. A collapsed hose or a seized caliper can often be dealt with roadside.
  • Flats and wheel problems, including the ones where the lug nuts have been torqued on by an impact gun and nothing in your trunk will move them.

When the honest answer is that it needs a shop

Most of what strands people is fixable on the spot. Some things are not, and we would rather say so than take your money and leave you in the same parking lot.

An engine that overheated badly enough to warp something, a transmission that has let go, or a repair that genuinely needs a lift and a press is not a roadside job. If that is what you are looking at, we will tell you that on the spot and tell you what your realistic options are, instead of turning a wrench for two hours first.

Common questions

Questions we get asked.

Are you really open 24 hours?
Yes, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Emergency calls at night are a normal part of the work. Call and we will tell you straight how fast we can get there.
How far out will you come?
Conway, Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach, Surfside, Socastee, Aynor, Loris and the rest of the Grand Strand. If you are on the edge of that, call and ask rather than guessing.
Do you tow?
Our work is repairing the vehicle where it sits so it does not need towing. If it turns out the car genuinely has to move, we will tell you that plainly rather than working on something that cannot be fixed there.
Will I know the price before you start?
Yes, even on a roadside call. You get a clear price on the repair before any wrench turns.
